The Friends of Lordship Rec approached the Cloud Appreciation Society to discuss the possibility of creating an Official ‘Cloud Appreciation Society Cloud Appreciation Site’ in Tottenham.  Tottenham Clouds was the result of the first meeting to discuss ideas.

Tottenham Clouds meetings are held every two months at the Eco Hub in Lordship Rec, N17  (Anyone is welcome to attend).  There are also three sub-groups:

Tottenham Clouds Arts:
The Arts group was formed to explore the possibilities, and practicalities, of installing a cloud interpretation board and installation in Lordship Rec. The Arts group has also begun to investigate the production of other cloud related items

Seven Bruce Grove:
Luke Howard, the Namer of Clouds, lived at 7 Bruce Grove and this is the building on the Blue Plaque was placed.  Sadly the building is in a state of disrepair and Tottenham Clouds is part of the campaign for the restoration of the building led by Tottenham Civic Society.

Weather Station @ Lordship Rec:
The group is looking into the types of equipment, costs and other implications of setting up a Weather Station at the Lordship Rec Eco Hub.
